5 Android Smartphones Nigeria

5 Android Smartphones NigeriaIt’s no longer news that the Nigerian economy is in recession. This is a result of the drastic fall in crude oil prices around 2014 which led to the steady fall of the Naira (₦). As at the time of writing this post, the exchange rate is 1 US Dollar =
315.25 Nigerian Naira at the interbank, while at the parallel market 1 US Dollar is as high as 422 Nigerian Naira. As of today, the price of smartphones and other gadgets has doubled. I remember getting a Tecno Camon C8 android smartphone for ₦26,000 last year, which now goes for about ₦38,000 to ₦43,000.

To get a decent mid-range Android Smartphone with at least a 2GB RAM today you have to budget about ₦50,000. I put together a list of android smartphones you could get right now if you are running on a budget.
